The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) has issued a clarification after rumours were ripe that several of its students have been tested positive for the coronavirus.
Earlier, rumours surfaced that the 15 students of LUMS upon returning from Turkey were tested positive for coronavirus.
However, in a statement, the Student Council has clarified that no such case exists.
The council also added that it was in contact with the administration and any such rumours would be clarified.
20 students went to Turkey’s Model United Nations and on their return, they were tested, says the statement.
“However, all of the students tested negative. They were once again tested at Chugtai Lab on LUMS directives and their test came out negative”, the statement further added.
