Overly obese patient, Noor Hassan passes away in Lahore

Overly obese patient Noor Hassan, who had undergone a successful weight loss surgery in Lahore, earlier, passed away today.

According to his doctor Muaz, Noor Hassan died due to vandalization in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit where he was kept, by the heirs of a woman, who died during pregnancy.

“Noor Hassan was kept in the ICU owing to his serious health condition after surgery”, said the doctor, adding two other patients including Noor, had lost their lives due to the vandalization at the hospital.

Noor Hassan, 55, from Sadiqabad, weighed 329 Kilograms. He was airlifted by the order of the Chief of Armed Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa by an Army Helicopter to a private Hospital, after he appealed on social media to the Cheif to help him get rid of his obesity.
