PAF Special Flight Leaves For China For Transportation Of First Tranche Of COVID-19 Vaccine
A special flight of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has left for Beijing, China for transportation of the first tranche of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms and Special Initiatives, and also the Chairperson of National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) to deal with the COVID-19 in Pakistan, has shared the update from China.
The COVID-19 vaccines being uploaded on PAF aircraft, soon to be arriving in Pakistan.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), all necessary measures have taken in place for vaccine storage in Islamabad and for moving the vaccines to various federating units including Sindh and Balochistan through the air.
As being reported, the Vaccine nerve center has been established at NCOC with provincial and district level vaccine administration, coordination centres, Adult Vaccination Centres.
China has donated 500,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to Pakistan, officials from the national health ministry said on Thursday and the first batch of doses will be given to the front line health workers across the country.
