Pakistani rupee has registered fresh gains against the US dollar in the open market and interbank.
The US dollar came down 43 paisas and closed the day at Rs 148.21 in the interbank market, while in the open market, shedding 80 paisas, it was traded at Rs 149.20 by day end.
The Pakistani rupee dropped in value after Pakistan signed a three year $6 billion bailout agreement with IMF.
The US dollar had reached Rs. 151 in the interbank market, with the rupee falling by Rs. 1.40. In the open market, the rupee had come down to Rs. 150 against the dollar.
