Pakistan has been added to Amazon’s approved seller list!

Ministry of Commerce, Pakistan has reportedly got approval from Amazon to Register Pakistan in the verified Amazon seller list.

A new updated countries list will be published on Amazon’s official website in the next 12-24 hours.

The government and private sector endeavors to woo global tech firms into Pakistan will soon be bearing fruits of hard work after getting Pakistan added in Amazon’s approved sellers’ list.

With the latest development, made in Pakistan products will now be accessible to millions of buyers internationally.

It was reported last year that the eCommerce giant Amazon registered an office in Pakistan.

As per details, Amazon registered an office in Pakistan under the name Amazon Data Services Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd and according to records of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Paul Andrew Macpherson would serve as the CEO of the office, Bilal Gilani, Executive Director Gallup Pakistan shared in a Tweet.

It is pertinent to mention that the Seattle-based company was founded by billionaire Jeff Bezos on July 5, 1994.

Amazon focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.

Amazon is referred to as “one of the most influential economic and cultural forces in the world” as well as the world’s most valuable brand.

And it is considered one of the Big Four technology companies, along with Google, Apple, and Facebook.
