Agreement Amis to Ease Pilgrimage for 180,000 Pakistanis with Improved Accommodations and Services

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on Monday signed an annual agreement for Hajj 2025, facilitating the pilgrimage for approximately 180,000 Pakistani pilgrims.
This agreement was finalized during the International Hajj Conference held in Jeddah, attended by key officials including Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq bin Fawzan al-Rabiah.
The agreement aims to improve the overall facilities and experience for Pakistani pilgrims, reflecting a commitment from both nations to support this significant religious undertaking.
Key Features of the Agreement
- Pakistani pilgrims will have access to specially designated areas in Mina at reduced rates, enhancing affordability during the pilgrimage.
- A new program allows for a 20-25-day Hajj experience, enabling pilgrims to customize their schedules according to personal preferences.
- Pilgrims can opt to stay in Medina for four to eight days, with various accommodation options available/
- Each pilgrim will receive a specially designed bag featuring the Pakistani flag and a QR-coded identity tag for better identification and access to essential information.
- A dedicated app will provide live maps and important updates to enhance the overall experience for pilgrims.
