Pakistan has started the registration of citizens over the age of 65 for COVID vaccination.
Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Minister for Planning and Development, and Head of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday announced that the registration process has kicked off nationwide.
In a tweet, Asad Umar said: “Pleased to announce that registration for getting the covid vaccine is now open for all citizens 65 and above. Just write down ur CNIC number and send a message on 1166. Inshallah vaccinations for this age group will start in March.”
Following the announcement, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Taimur Jhagra has lauded the NCOC, SAPM on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan, and NCOC chief Asad Umar for doing a tremendous job.
