Pakistan confirms its fifth coronavirus positive case
Pakistan confirmed its fifth case of the novel coronavirus on Tuesday.
The confirmation comes from the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health, Dr. Zafar Mirza, who is a tweet said, “We have now 5th confirmed case of #COVID19 in federal areas. The patient is stable and is being managed well. I request the media to respect the privacy of the patient and the family”.

According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the patient is a 45-year-old woman from the northern mountainous region of Gilgit Baltistan.
As being reported, this woman has arrived from Iran a few days ago.
The patient is being treated at a hospital in Gilgit and her family members are being tested for the virus.
Following the confirmation of the infection, local schools have also been closed till March 7.
