Pakistan Denies Indian Claims of Ceasefire Violations

India has accused Pakistan of repeated ceasefire breaches

Pakistan has firmly rejected repeated allegations from India regarding ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC), according to state media PTV News, citing security sources.

Pakistan stated that Indian media reports accusing Pakistan of drone violations are “fabricated and false,” emphasising that no Pakistani drone has crossed the border or LoC.

The Pakistani statement accused India of violating the ceasefire by deploying drones at the LoC and Working Boundary, while Pakistan maintains full adherence to the ceasefire agreement.

This comes amid ongoing tensions following an immediate ceasefire agreement reached between India and Pakistan after days of deadly cross-border attacks.

India has accused Pakistan of repeated ceasefire breaches, with Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri asserting that Indian forces are responding appropriately to violations.

Pakistan, however, insists its forces are exercising restraint and managing the situation responsibly, urging that any issues in implementing the ceasefire be resolved through communication at appropriate levels.

The ceasefire, brokered with international facilitation, including from the United States, aims to stabilise the volatile border regions, though accusations of violations continue from both sides.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude for the peace efforts and called the agreement a new beginning for regional stability.
