Pakistan Dispatches First Humanitarian Aid Shipment to Lebanon

This humanitarian aid package was a collaborative effort involving the NDMA, the Pakistan Army, and the Al-Khidmat Foundation.

Pakistan on Wednesday dispatched its first humanitarian aid shipment to Lebonan. 

As reported, the aid package has been prepared in collaboration with the NDMA, Pakistan Army, and Al-Khidmat Foundation.

According to a spokesperson for the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), a chartered aircraft carried three tonnes of medicines and other essential items to Lebanon.

This development follows Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s directive to provide humanitarian aid to the victims of the war in Lebanon.

Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), NDMA, Armed Forces, and representatives from the Al-Khidmat Foundation attended the send-off ceremony at Jinnah International Airport, highlighting Pakistan’s dedication to supporting the people of Lebanon in this difficult time.

Earlier in the day, a special flight bringing back 79 stranded Pakistanis from Lebanon arrived at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
