Pakistan Navy Successfully Tests Indigenously Developed Ship-Launched Ballistic Missile

The Pakistan Navy successfully conducted a flight test of an indigenously developed ship-launched ballistic missile on Monday, November 4, 2024.
This missile has a range of 350 kilometres and is designed to engage both land and sea targets with high precision, utilizing advanced navigation and manoeuvrability features.
“The weapon system with 350km range is capable of engaging land and sea targets with high precision,” said the Directorate General Public Relations (Navy) statement.
“The weapon system is equipped with a state-of-the-art navigation system and manoeuvrability features.”
The test was overseen by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, along with senior naval officers and scientists involved in the missile’s development. The successful demonstration highlights Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing its defence capabilities through indigenous technology and innovation.
Following the successful test, notable figures including President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the teams involved in the project.
This development is part of Pakistan’s broader efforts to strengthen national security and military technology, reflecting significant advancements in its defence systems.
