Pakistan Observes Kashmir Solidarity Day
5th of February is being observed as Kashmir Solidarity Day throughout the country, calling for the Kashmiris right to self-determination, and expressing persistent and resolute support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle.
This Kashmir Solidarity Day marks the 180th day since the lockdown in Kashmir. India revoked the special status of occupied Kashmir given under Article 370 in India’s constitution in August 2019.
Since August, the entire population of Indian occupied territory has been under a lockdown.
Pakistani, including leaders of both the govt. and opposition have extended their messages to show their support for Kashmiris.
Hashtags like #KashmirSolidarityDay, #StandWithKashmir, #KashmirDay, #KashmirWantsFreedom and #MillionsForKashmir, are trending today as Pakistani have taken to social media calling for the Kashmiris right to self-determination.
No amount of brute Indian power has succeeded in silencing brave Kashmiris. The chapters of exemplary courage they are writing to annals of human history will continue to inspire oppressed people… Pakistan will always stand by its Kashmiri brothers & sisters.

There can be no peace in this region without UN SC resolutions being enforced in Kashmir giving the right of self determination to Kashmiris. UNSC resolutions of 1951 & 1957 made clear constituent assembly & elections etc were no substitute for UN-supervised plebiscite.
