Pakistan Prays for the Safe Return of Missing Ali Sadpara
Pakistan prays for the safe return of Muhammad Ali Sadpara and his teammates two climbers John Snorri from Iceland, Juan Pablo Mohr from Chile, who reportedly have gone missing attempting to climb the world´s second-highest mountain, K2, on Friday.
After no success on Saturday, another search and rescue operation is launched on Sunday.
As being reported, two Pakistan army helicopters with local mountaineers and porters have departed from Skardu on the rescue mission. They will go up to 7,000 meters to find the climbers.
Expedition Manager Chhang Dawa Sherpa said, “It’s already been more than 30 hours, we (at basecamp) have received no news of John Snorri, Ali Sadpara, and Juan Pablo Mohr, since none of the GPS trackers seem to be working.”
On the news of mountaineers gone missing, Pakistanis are praying for their safe return.
