Pakistan Railways Suspends Passenger Train Operations Until March 31

Pakistan Railways has suspended the operations of all passenger trains until March 31 amid coronavirus outbreak and to restrict public movement.

The suspension will come into effect from 12 am-midnight.

The notification of train operation suspension was issued on Tuesday after a high-level meeting at the headquarters.

Passengers will be accommodated after the service resumes, accordinng to the notification by the department.

The railway ministry has already shut down 44 trains from operating.
