Pakistan reported lowest daily coronavirus cases since April

Pakistan has reported 264 confirmed cases of the coronavirus during the 24 hours— the country’s lowest daily infections since April, it emerged on Sunday.

According to the reports reveal by NCOC, the number of deaths recorded was 4 during the past 24 hours, showing a drastic fall in the death rate.

The country has recorded a sum of 295,636 confirmed infections since late February. Of those, 280,547 cases which are nearly 95% have defeated the infection. Moreover, 207 more patients have recovered in the last 24 hours.

The highest number of cases 129,268 recorded in Sindh, followed by Punjab (96,741), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (36,017), Islamabad Capital Territories (15,611), Balochistan (12,842), Gilgit-Baltistan (2,863) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (2,294).

So far 8,801 active cases reported across the country as of Sunday. While the death toll in the country stands at 6,288.
