Pakistan reports 32 deaths, and 2,443 new COVID-19 in 24 hours

Pakistan has reported 32 deaths, and 2,443 new COVID-19  cases in 24 hours, as per statistics issued by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Sunday.

According to NCOC, tests of 39,410 people were conducted while the figure of patients recovered from the virus has reached 323,225.

Furthermore, Pakistan has recorded 811 more recoveries from coronavirus, taking the country’s total recoveries to 323,225.

While 1,377 patients are in critical condition, according to the government’s database for tracking the spread of coronavirus in the country.

The coronavirus situation seems to be worsening by the start of the month of November, as coutry witnessess drastic increase in COVID-19 positive cases on daily basis.

Punjab has reported 684 COVID-19 cases, up from 487 a day earlier, and nine  fatalities in the last 24 hours.

This has taken the provincial COVID-19 cases tally to 109,993 and the total number of deaths to 2,471.

On the other hand, Islamabad has reported more than 400  infections for the second straight day. In the last 24 hours feseral capital reported 461 new coronavirus cases.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reported 267 new COVID-19 cases and four more fatalities in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Balochistan reported 65 cases and one fatality, taking the provincial tally of coronavirus cases to 16,393 and deaths to 156.
