Pakistan reports 118 COVID-19 related deaths and 3,785 new infections in 24 hours.
National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Sunday stated that 40,736 tests have been conducted across the country during the past 24 hours.
4,903 coronavirus patients are in critical condition across the country.
Meanwhile, 4,569 more people have recovered from Covid-19 in Pakistan, taking the country’s total to 757,281.
The death toll in Pakistan due to COVID has reached 18,915 since the pandemic started.
While the total number of infections in the country now currently stands at 858,026.

A day earlier Pakistan has received its first batch of 1.2 million doses of AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine through the Covax facility with an additional batch of 1.2m doses scheduled to arrive in a few days.
According to a statement issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), more vaccine shipments will be approved from June onwards and the purpose of the Covax facility is to provide enough vaccines to vaccinate 20 percent of the population in Pakistan.
