Pakistan reports 38 COVID-19 deaths and 1,329 new cases in 24 hours

Pakistan in the past 24 hours has reported 38 COVID-19 related deaths and 1,329 new cases.

As per National Command and Operating Centre (NCOC) report, with more fatalities, the total death tally due to the coronavirus has reached 12,601.

The total number of COVID infections in the country currently stands at 571,174. During the past 24 hours, 41,395 corona tests were conducted across the country. 

While 1,616 patients are in critical condition. Another 905 people have recovered from the coronavirus in Pakistan, according to the government’s COVID-19 portal.

Punjab in the past 24 hours has reported 568 new coronavirus infection cases and 19 more deaths.

With the addition of the new infections, the provincial total has risen to 167,345.

While Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reported 170 cases and five deaths from the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Balochistan has reported seven new COVID positive cases, taking its total to 18,979.

Islamabad recorded 120 cases new coronavirus cases.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir have reported 59 cases and two more fatalities.

So far in Pakistan, Sindh has reported 255,834 COVID-19 cases, Punjab 167,345, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) 70,886, Balochistan 18,979, Islamabad 43,402, Azad Jammu and Kashmir 9,777, and Gilgit Baltistan 4,951.
