Pakistan reports 4,553 COVID-19 cases and 85 deaths in 24 hours!
According to National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) daily statistics, 61,446 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, out of which 4,553 returned positive.
With the new positive cases, the total number of active cases in the country has surged to 92,244 on August 26.
The nationwide tally of COVID-19 cases now stands at 1,140,411.
The positivity rate of COVID-19 cases has surged to 7.4%.

Furthermore, 3,413 people have so far recovered from the coronavirus in Pakistan, according to the government’s Covid-19 portal.
This has increased the total number of recoveries to 1,022,847 while the recovery rate is 89.7 per cent.
As per the NCOC data, 1,054,924 vaccines were administered across the country on Aug. 25.

Later in the day, NCOC has announced that starting from today, all Pakistani citizens who have got their vaccine administered from abroad can get their immunisation records registered in NIMS through nims.nadra.gov.pk and get a COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
