Pakistan on Sunday reported 56 deaths and 1,239 new Covid cases.
The coronavirus positivity ratio across the country has delined however the pandemic is not over yet!
The total number of people who have tested positive for the virus since the start of the pandemic in Pakistan has reached 941,170, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) reported on Sunday.
While the death toll has reached 21,689. As per NCOC, the total number of critically ill patients is 2,661.
Meanwhile, the country’s Covid positivity rate is 3.40 percent.
According to the statistics shared on Sunday by NCOC, 36,368 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours.
At least 1,610 people recovered from COVID-19while 10,744 people have been fully vaccinated during the said period.

Region-wise breakdown of coronavirus cases and deaths is as follows:
- Punjab: 223 new cases and 22 deaths
- Sindh: 583 cases and 7 deaths
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 308 new coronavirus cases and 22 deaths
- Balochistan: 49 new cases and 2 deaths
- Islamabad: 34 cases, 2 deaths
- GB: 9 cases
- AJK: 33 cases, 1 death
