Pakistan reports 80 COVID-19 related deaths and 1,843 new infection cases

Pakistan on Wednesday reported 80 COVID-19 related deaths and 1,843 new infection cases.
This is for the second day in a row that the country has reported less than 2000 coronavirus cases.
According to the NCOC, 47,183 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours while the corona positivity rate is 3.90 percent.
While so far, Pakistan has reported 924,667 cases and 20,930 fatalities.

Furthermore, Pakistan has also reported 4,047 coronavirus recoveries during the last 24 hours, according to the government’s Covid-19 portal.
The total number of recoveries reported so far in the country is 848,685, constituting a recovery rate of 91.8 percent.

- Sindh: 868 cases, 12 deaths
- Punjab: 447 cases, 45 deaths
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 302 cases, 16 deaths
- Islamabad: 100 cases, 1 death
- Balochistan: 77 cases, 2 deaths
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 37 cases, 4 deaths
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 12 cases
