Pakistan on Saturday has reported the highest daily death toll since the start of the pandemic, 157 fatalities!
According to National Command Operation Center (NCOC), during the last 24 hours, 52,402 tests were conducted across the country out of which, 5,908 came out COVID-19 positive.
The country’s coronavirus positivity ratio is 11.27%.
Meanwhile, there are 86,529 active cases of coronavirus across the country with 4,682 patients reported to be in critical condition.
Pakistan’s recoveries from the coronavirus have risen to 686,488 after 4,198 people recovered from COVID-19 in the country.

Walk-in vaccinations for citizens aged 60 to 64 will start nationwide from tomorrow, informs NCOC chief and federal minister for planning Asad Umar.
In a tweet, Asad Umar announced, “Starting tomorrow, Sunday, walk-in vaccination for those who are between 60 to 64 years old will be started. Walk-in for 65 and above has already been open. All those 60 and above who are registered go to your vaccination center and get vaccinated. Vaccination open on Sunday also.”
