Pakistan reports less than 1,000 daily COVID-19 cases for the second day in a row!
According to the statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Saturday morning, country has reported another 29 coronavirus deaths and 955 infections during the last 24 hours (Friday).
A day earlier, the country had recorded a daily case count under 1,000 for the first time in over three months (830 cases on July 6).
A total of 44,557 tests were conducted throughout the country during the last 24 hours.
While the country’s positivity ratio stood at 2.14 percent.
According to NCOC, the number of patients in critical care stands at 2,644.
As many as 1,222 patients have recovered from the virus whereas the total recoveries stood at 1,186,749.
As of Saturday, Pakistan’s total count of active cases was recorded at 43,352.

- Punjab: 472 cases, 13 deaths
- Sindh: 140 cases, 6 deaths
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 226 cases, 9 deaths
- Balochistan: 29 cases
- Islamabad: 75 cases, 1 death
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 3 cases
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 10 cases
