Pakistan reports over 4,000 COVID-19 cases for the second straight day!
According to the statistics issued by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Sunday, a total of 51,236 tests were conducted in the country during the last 24 hours, of which 4,027 came back positive.
While the country has reported nine COVID-related deaths and 752 patients are on critical care.
The country’s positivity rate now stands at 7.8%.

Because of rising coronavirus cases, National Command and Operation Centre, has called a meeting of all provincial health and education ministers on January 17, 2022.
The meeting will propose new precautionary measures at schools, colleges, and universities.
SOPs for public gatherings, marriage ceremonies, indoor/outdoor dining, and the transport sector will also be chalked out.
NCOC has already reduced the age limit for a booster dose. Now citizens over 18 years are eligible for a free booster dose of their choice.
Booster (one dose) will be administered after 6 months gap from complete vaccination.
