Pakistan sees an alarming rise in COVID-19 cases!
On Sunday the country reported 1,980 coronavirus cases while the COVID-19 positivity ratio reaches 4.09% which is the highest reported one since May 30 — 4.05%.
NCOC, on Sunday, sharing the daily statistics, said 1,980 coronavirus cases were detected from 48,382 tests conducted across the country in the last 24 hours.
While 27 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, with the most recorded in Sindh followed by Khyber Pakhtunkwa.
Of the new COVID cases, more than half — 55% were detected in Sindh.

Pakistan has so far recorded a total of 973,284 cases, 22,582 deaths, 913,203 recoveries, the NCOC said, adding that there were 37,499 active cases.
