Pakistan successfully tests Shaheen-1 missile

Pakistan has successfully conducted training launch of Shaheen-1 missile, informed military spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor on Monday.

According to Major General Asif Ghafoor, the Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations

(ISPR), the Surface-to-Surface Ballistic Missile (SSBM) is capable of carrying all types of warheads up to the range of 650 KMs.

DG ISPR while sharing a video of the successful missile test, wrote in a tweet, “Pakistan successfully conducted training launch of SSBM Shaheen-1 capable of delivering all types of warheads up to the range of 650 KMs. The launch was aimed at testing the operational readiness of Army Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) ensuring Pakistan’s credible minimum deterrence”.
