Pakistan traces two Indian spies in Baluchistan

Pakistan has identified two more Indian spies actively involved in terrorist activities in Mastung district of Baluchistan. Reports claimed that the spies, Swami Asemanand and Goband Part, sneaked into Pakistan from Iran’s border.

The Indian agents were reportedly involved in criminal activities in Mastung district of Baluchistan later fled to Afghanistan.

The foreign office of Pakistan has shared details with Iran and Afghanistan regarding the Indian spies and their criminal activities pertaining to harm Pakistan on a global scale. Pakistan sent a letter to the authorities in the two countries, reports said.

Prior to this, Indian spy Kalbhushan Jadhav was also apprehended in Pakistan in back in 2016. Jadhav, later admitted to his involvement in several terrorist activities in Karachi and Baluchistan was sent jail after the military court of Pakistan sentenced him the death penalty.

The case was later dealt with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) after Indian submission pertaining to Jadhav’s acquittal and release could not be upheld.

According to the ICJ, the conviction and sentence of Kulbhushan Jadhav were not to be regarded as a violation of Article 36 of the Vienna Convention.

“As regards India’s claim based on the Vienna Convention, the Court considers that it is not the conviction and sentence of Mr. Jadhav which are to be regarded as a violation of the provisions of the Vienna Convention,” read the verdict.

Later, the ICJ allowed India consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav and asked  Pakistan to review and reconsider his conviction and sentence. Pakistan subsequently provided Indian consular access to the convicted Indian spy.
