Pakistani celebs headed for Muzaffarabad to express solidarity with Kashmir

As Prime Minister Imran Khan is due to address a rally in Azad Kashmir as part of his campaign to express solidarity with Kashmiris and draw international community’s attention towards Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir; many of the celebrities are likely to join him for the rally being arranged for the Kashmir cause.

A large number of people are expected to show up at the rally. Many of the prominent Pakistani celebrities, responding to PM call have left for Muzaffarabad.

They will attend Prime Minister Imran Khan’s rally to show the world that Pakistan stands resolute with Kashmir.

Actor turned producer Humayun Saeed, took to Instagram sharing a group photo who were ready to leave for Muzaffarabad jalsa.

“On our way to Kashmir on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s call. Will be joining him at his big jalsa today in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Kashmir #KashmirSolidarityJalsa”, he captioned his post.

He can be seen standing along Javed Sheikh, Maya Ali, Shahid Afridi, Faakhir Mehmood, and Hareem Farooq, with a helicopter in the background.

Celebrity singer Shehzad Roy in a tweet also shared that he is headed to show solidarity with Kashmir.

He captioned his photo post saying, “On my way to Muzaffarabad with Lala buddy @SAfridiOfficialto show solidarity with #westandwithkashmir”.

It was on Wednesday when PM Imran made an announcement that he will hold “a big jalsa in Muzzafarabad on Friday 13 Sept, to send a message to the world about the continuing siege of IOJK by Indian Occupation forces; & to show the Kashmiris that Pakistan stands resolutely with them”.

And former Pakistani Cricket captain Shahid Afridi and many others show their commitment for the cause.
