Pakistan’s tally of positive coronavirus cases rises to 20 with the new confirmed case from Gilgit Baltistan, second from the region.
As being reported a 14-year-old boy, a resident of Skardu, who was being held at an isolation center has tested positive for novel coronavirus.
So far the 20 Pakistanis who have been tested positive for COVID-19, among 15 of them belonging to Sindh, while four are in Gilgit-Baltistan and one in Balochistan.
Yesterday, a 12-year-old boy in Balochistan tested positive for coronavirus. According to health officials, the boy had arrived in Quetta along with his parents from Iran via the Taftan border.
Meanwhile, Dr. Zafar Mirza, the de facto health minister, in a tweet said, “No need to worry… the situation is completely under control. The federal and provincial governments are jointly making all-out efforts to protect the masses from coronavirus on war footing”.
