It’s still early to say whether Parwaz Hai Junoon will be making its Eid release or not as few matters of court of law are involved now. The film is already in its promotional phase.
While talking to media Soomar Rehman the wardrobe stylist of the film, tells that his name was not mentioned in the credits of the film teasers and therefore he took the matter to the court.
In the latest development the court has issued orders to restrain from the release of any promotional content of the film until further orders are received.
The case was filed claiming damages and restraining order against the vice president, production head of MD Films and MD Productions on Friday, April 27. HUM TV has been also mentioned as the proforma party on the legal papers as it is the official distributor of the film Parwaaz Hai Junoon.
The first hearing was held on 30th April.
“The court has passed an order and stated that the production house is not allowed to release any upcoming teasers, trailers, posters or songs without mentioning my name, at least until the next hearing”, tells Soomar Rehman while talking to the media.
He further added that, “I want MD productions to tender an unconditional written apology. Apart from that I would like to receive my due credit in the film. MD Productions has a record of misusing youngsters’ talent”.
