PCB, facing a severe financial crunch, set to slashing down officers drawing hefty salaries

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), facing a severe financial crunch, set to show the door to officers drawing hefty salaries, sources claim.

As being reported, PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja has decided to terminate 22 officers drawing hefty salaries as the board faces losses of around one billion rupees.

The sources have claimed that the PCB Chairman will decide the fate of the 22 officers on January 20 or 21 meeting with PCB Patron.

In a massive ‘operation’ asquint officers, Ramiz Raja will meet PCB Patron and PCB Standing Committee to decide the fate of the 22 officers.

Ramiz Raja has been given a green signal in this regard from higher-ups, source claims.

On the other hand, officers on the brink of losing high-paying jobs have started lobbying to save themselves from possible termination, as per the source.

It should be noted that earlier at a press conference, Ramiz Raja refuted rumors about slashing down the hefty salaries.
