Peshawar: Partial lockdown imposed in 7 localities to control Covid-19 spread

Authorities in Peshawar have decided to impose a partial lockdown in 7 localities to control the spread Covid-19 in

The Peshawar deputy commissioner on Friday issued an official notification in this regard.

As per the offical notification, no general entry or exit to the seven localities/houses situated in Peshawar Cantt, University Town, and Hayatabad areas will be allowed, except for persons providing essential commodities.

All types of gatherings in the localities will be strictly prohibited and the mosque congregations will be restricted to five persons only.

Further more, all shops/businesses other than those providing essential services will remain closed in the specified areas.
