Petrol and Diesel Prices Hiked as Global Rates Surge: Effective February 1, 2025
The new petrol price is Rs257.13 and that of HSD is Rs267.95.

Petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan have increased by the federal government effective February 1, 2025, following a rise in global oil prices.
Petrol has seen a hike of Re1, bringing the price to Rs257.13 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) has increased by Rs7, settling at Rs267.95 per litre,
“The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has reviewed and adjusted consumer prices for petroleum products in view of recent fluctuations in the international oil market,” read the notification issued late Friday night.
Meanwhile, no changes in the prices of light diesel oil and kerosene oil were mentioned.

The current price changes follow previous increments earlier in January 2025, where petrol and diesel prices were raised by Rs3.47 and Rs2.61 respectively on January 15.
