Petrol, kerosene price hike paused till December 15 after a continuous rise

The prices of petroleum products including petrol, kerosene, and light diesel price will remain the same till December 15, a notification issued from the Finance Division on Monday.

“The Government of Pakistan in its endeavor to provide maximum relief to the public has decided to absorb most of the increase in international prices of petroleum products,” the notification said.

According to the notification, petrol, light diesel, and kerosene oil would be available at the existing prices of Rs 100.9, Rs 65.86, and 65.29 per litre respectively.

Meanwhile, due to a “significant increase” in the international price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD), its rate has been raised by Rs4 per litre till December 15, the notification said.
