PIA announces 10% discount for vaccinated senior citizens

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 10 percent reduction in domestic flight fares for vaccinated senior citizens.

In a statement issued on Friday, a PIA spokesman said senior citizens (50 years and above) can get the discount on domestic flights after showing their Covid-19 vaccination certificate issued by Nadra.

The reduced fare will be applicable immediately, he added.

“PIA, in support of the vaccination drive, will be offering a 10pc discount on domestic tickets by showing the Nadra vaccination certificate,” the spokesman said.

Pakistan has seen a decline in the number of coronavirus cases on a daily basis after ramping up vaccinations. 

As per data from the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), Pakistan on Friday reported 1,303 cases of the coronavirus and 47 deaths.
