PM Imran Khan himself holds meeting in person while being in isolation!!
Who will care to follow COVID-19 SOPs in Pakistan? is the million-dollar question today as the latest image doing rounds on social media showed PM Imran held a meeting in person despite being in Isolation.
It was on March 20 when Prime Minister Imran Khan and first lady Bushra Bibi tested positive for coronavirus.
As being reported, PM Imran Khan had a meeting with his media team at Bani Gala, Islamabad. The meeting also had federal minister Shibli Faraz, and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan Zulfi Bukhari in attendance.

Social media seems to be outrage after the meeting photo was shared on the microblogging site.
While being in quarantine and working from home doesn’t allow to have others from outside physically present in a closed room.
The world should see how serious Imran Khan & crew are about COVID-19. He tested positive five days ago. https://t.co/xPvpSZe7Zl

Why is @ImranKhanPTI not isolating and why is he violating/disrespecting COVID-19 SOPs? This meeting could easily have been done online and mitigated the risk of the virus being spread. There is no need to gloat over this

I have never seen any Covid patient working in a closed room, can’t it infect others? Has anyone explained to PM Imran Khan that what does Quarantine means?
Working from home doesn’t means that you call others and infect them.
Why couldn’t he do zoom meetings? pic.twitter.com/Rr7I6OiLmF

What was the point of CovIK to call his media team & put their lives in danger? How irresponsible & stupid can one be? I pity all those attending for someone else’s self-aggrandisement & having no choice of their own. @MaryamNSharif @BBhuttoZardari @Majid_Agha @betterpakistan

Prime Minister Imran Khan tested positive for coronavirus on March 20. The update was shared by the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health, Dr. Faisal Sultan.
PM Imran Khan was reported to have mild symptoms and went into isolation at his home. Later in the day, the first lady also tested positive for COVID-19.
The coronavirus situation in Pakistan is worsening with an almost 10% positivity rate as the country keeps report more than 3,000 cases on a daily basis for almost a week.
On the one hand, the government urges the citizens to strictly follow COVID-19 SOPS and on the other hand, its officials are the ones who violate the standard operating procedures to help prevent the spread of the pandemic.
