Indian PM Modi has shared a special message for the people of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day celebrations.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has received the message from Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on the eve of Pakistan Day, 23rd of March.
Indian PM extended his greeting and best wishes on Pakistan’s national day, PM Imran Khan took to Twitter to share about this development.
PM Imran Khan wrote, “Received msg from PM Modi: “I extend my greetings & best wishes to the people of Pakistan on the National Day of Pakistan. It is time that ppl of Sub-continent work together for a democratic, peaceful, progressive & prosperous region, in an atmosphere free of terror and violence”
Pakistani premier has welcomed Indian prime minister’s message which he shared for Pakistani people on Pakistan Day.
In his later tweet, PM Imran Khan wrote, ” I welcome PM Modi’s message to our people. As we celebrate Pakistan Day I believe it is time to begin a comprehensive dialogue with India to address and resolve all issues, especially the central issue of Kashmir, and forge a new relationship based on peace and prosperity for all our people.”
The relations between the two neighbouring countries have been restrained further following the Pulwama Attack in Indian Occupied Kashmir last month. Following that Pakistan shot down 2 Indian aircraft for violating Pakistani air space and captured Indian pilot. Who was later released by Pakistani authorities as a goodwill gesture and to promote peace in the region.
