PM Imran Khan seeks the cooperation of Ulema to contain the spread of COVID-19.
In this regard, PM met with the renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, who called on him at the PM Office on Thursday evening.
The PM lauded the public awareness campaign of Maulana Tariq Jamil to contain coronavirus within the country.
PM Imran Khan also said that the purpose of governments’ efforts was to save the people from the pandemic which had engulfed the entire world.
“The government’s efforts aim to protect people from a pandemic that has engulfed the entire world,” PM Khan said.
“Religious scholars have guided the government in every difficult time.”
The government will decide the future course of action in consultation with all religious scholars in the wake of the Holy month of Ramazan.
