PML-N leaders condemn attack on Imran Khan

PTI Chairman has been shifted to the Shaukat Khanum Hospital Lahore to receive treatment.

PML-N leaders have condemned the attack on Imran Khan carried out in Wazirabad during PTI’s long march on Thursday.

As reported, Imran Khan sustained bullet injuries on his right leg after an unknown man opened fire at the container at PTI’s long march.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took notice of the firing incident and instructed Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to seek an immediate report on the incident from the IGP and chief secretary of Punjab.

 

Following the incident, PML-N’s Marriyum Aurangzeb announced that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has postponed his scheduled press conference that was to be done about his recent China visit.

PML-N leaders condemn attack on Imran Khan

PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif has condemned the firing incident on PTI chairman Imran Khan and his companions.

Taking it to Twitter, Nawaz Sharif also prayed for the recovery of those injured in the incident.

 

PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz condemned the firing incident at PTI chairman Imran Khan.

She also extended prayers for the speedy recovery of the former premier and others injured.

 

PML-N’s Ahsan Iqbal in a tweet said, “Thank God that Imran Khan is safe. There is no place for violence in politics”.

PML-N MPA Hina Pervez Butt also condemned the attack and called for the “suspect’s arrest and immediate investigation”.

 

According to Punjab police, seven people, including former prime minister Imran Khan and other party leaders, were injured and a party worker was killed in a gun attack on the PTI chief’s container on Thursday as his convoy reached Wazirabad’s Allah Wala Chowk.
