PPP leader Jam Madad Ali passes away from Covid-19 complications

Sindh MPA and PPP leader Jam Madad Ali passed away in Karachi on Friday from Covid-19 complications.

The 58-year-old politician had tested positive for coronavirus 15 days ago and was admitted to a private hospital in Karachi for treatment.

PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari expressed deep sorrow over Jam Madad Ali’s death, saying that his passing away was a “huge loss for the party and the people of his constituency”.

In a statement shared on the PPP’s official Twitter account, Bilawal said that the late politician was an “active leader” who will always be remembered.

 

On senior politician’s sad demise President Dr, Arif Alvi, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, and Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah have ectended their condolences and prayed for the departed soul.
