Speaking to senior journalists at the Governor’s House Punjab in Lahore, the President’s said that efforts are being made to improve relations between Imran Khan and the establishment, he added.

He added that the constitution does not allow consultation on the appointment of the Chief of Army Staff, there is no harm in consulting on this appointment, talking to the institutions that are effective in improving matters.

“I keep trying to bridge the differences between institutions,” he said.

He said that it is better if elections are held soon, and there should be discussions for the stability of democratic institutions, “I keep on sending messages, and the constitution allows me to take a vote of confidence, but I am not in this position, there is an effort regarding the federation. That unity and matters do not deteriorate, he does not work by consulting Imran Khan, Imran Khan is an old friend, and I believe him to be a leader”

Continuing his speech, Dr. Arif Alvi said that there is an effort to improve matters between Imran Khan and the establishment, the matter has become that institutions are no longer trusted, they put everything on the judiciary and do not accept the decision, the institutions are being used politically. Yes, the political use in the NAB law was wrong, if the containers were made, they were for trade, but we have also taught the world a new use for it.

The President of the State said that “what is wrong with going to the election with reconciliation, democracy works only because of institutions, Pakistan does not want to spoil relations with any country, especially big countries, our incompetence has increased, and we have marshals. I am happy that democracy is working in our country.”
