President’s House staff tests positive for coronavirus
Days after President of Pakistan’s wife Samina Alvi contracting coronavirus, Aiwan-e-Sadr staff tests positive for coronavirus.
As being reported, after Samina Alvi’s confirmation, Aiwan-i-Sadr staff also underwent the test and as a result, a number of employees were positive with coronavirus.
Following the development, President Arif Alvi again underwent a coronavirus test but his report came back negative.
Pakistan’s President Arif Alvi had contracted COVID-19 earlier this year in March.
He was administered the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine on March 15. “But antibodies start developing after 2nd dose that was due in a week,” according to Alvi.
Aiwan-e-Sadr, the official residence of the President of Pakistan is situated in the federal capital.
The federal capital, Islamabad on Saturday recorded 149 cases and reported one COVID-19 related death.
