Pro-Khalistan protesters set the Indian consulate on fire in San Francisco, it emerges today.
As per the media reports, the Indian Consulate in San Francisco in the US has been attacked, allegedly by Khalistan supporters on Saturday.
The Indian consulate was set on fire in an alleged attack by Khalistan supporters on July 2, but the damage was limited and no staff were injured.
The protesters poured flammable material at the entrance of the Indian mission in San Francisco and set the building ablaze.
The local fire department was able to put out the fire and no major damages or injuries were reported, according to another news agency, ANI.

A video uploaded to Twitter by Khalistan supporters themselves showed that the act of arson took place on July 2.
Such an incident happened for the second time in the last five months.
On the other hand, the US Department of State has strongly condemned the act of violence.
US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller in a tweet said that the US has strongly condemned the vandalism and attempted arson.
The U.S. strongly condemns the reported vandalism and attempted arson against the Indian Consulate in San Francisco on Saturday. Vandalism or violence against diplomatic facilities or foreign diplomats in the U.S. is a criminal offense.
