Prohibited funding case: Banking court orders Imran Khan to appear in person today

A banking court in the federal capital on Wednesday ordered PTI Chairman Imran Khan to appear before the court today.
The court rejected a plea filed by former prime minister Imran Khan seeking exemption from personal appearance for pre-arrest bail in the prohibited funding case.
The Special Judge of Banking Court Rakhshanda Shaheen has ordered the PTI chief Imran Khan, to appear in person before the court before closing time i.e, by 3:30 pm.
The PTI prohibited funding case or “foreign” Funding case is a case against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf where it obtained funds from Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, overseas Pakistanis and their companies.
