PSL 2019 will observe childhood cancer and breast cancer awareness days

Honoring the traditions of international cricket, this year, the Pakistan Super League 2019, will also observe childhood and breast cancer awareness days on 15th February and 10th March respectively.

The Childhood Cancer Awareness Day will be observed on Friday, 15th February (International Child Hood Cancer Awareness Day).

Matches will be held between Multan Sultan and Karachi Kings followed by Peshawar Zalmi vs. Quetta Gladiators. The teams will be sporting Golden Ribbons synonymous with Childhood Cancer Awareness along with the commentators. Equipment used in the match on the particular day will also be themed accordingly.

HBL PSL partners Jubilee Insurance would be flying in a child cancer patient and his caretaker for the game.

On Sunday, 10th March, Breast Cancer Awareness day will be observed during the matches to be hosted in Karachi and Lahore. The first match will be played between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators in Karachi National Stadium. The second match will be played between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

All four teams will be wearing the Pink Ribbon synonymous with Breast Cancer Awareness Day alongside the commentators and match equipment for the day. The stadiums in Lahore and Karachi will also be themed accordingly.
