PTI activist ‘Neeli Pari’ arrested for beating PML-N’s Tahir Anjum

Anjum was attacked by PTI worker when he was passing by the party’s hunger strike camp outside the Punjab Assembly on Wednesday

PTI activist ‘Neeli Pari’ is reported to have been arrested on Thursday, for beating PML-N’s Tahir Anjum.

According to the details, Lahore Police arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activistAneela Jutt alias ‘Neeli Pari’ for assaulting and torturing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Cultural Wing President and comedian Tahir Anjum. 

According to Deputy Inspector General Operations Faisal Kamran, the police raided a house in the Lohari area in search of the accused and arrested her.

Tahir Anjum, known for his work on theatre, was physically assaulted by Neeli Pari outside the Punjab Assembly on Wednesday.

As reported, Pari approached Anjum’s car forcefully opened the door, and started physically assaulting him. She tore his clothes and used vulgar language as she tried to drag him out of the car. 

Anjum was attacked by PTI worker when he was passing by the party’s hunger strike camp outside the Punjab Assembly.

Aneela aka Neeli Pari alleged that Anjum used to post derogatory videos to malign incarcerated PTI founder Imran Khan, dubbing him a “terrorist”.
