PTI announces the Jail Bharo Movement schedule

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finally announced the Jail Bharo Movement schedule!

If plans go unchanged, PTI’s ‘Jail Bharo’ movement is set to begin on Wednesday (February 22, 2023).

According to the details,200 PTI workers and a six-member group of former MNAs and MNAs will present themselves for arrest on a daily basis from February 22 till March 1st.

And in case police refuse to arrest them, workers as well as ex-legislators will hold a sit-in at the spot designated for the purpose.

On the first day on February 22, PTI workers and leaders will surrender to police at The Mall, Lahore; on the second day on February 23 in Peshawar; on February 24 in Rawalpindi; on February 25 in Multan; on February 26 in Gujranwala; on February 27 in Sargodha; on February 28 in Sahiwal; while on March 1 in Faisalabad.

While a list of the PTI leaders and workers who will turn themselves into police on February 22 has been prepared.

The final list of the party members who will fill the jails will be issued after approval from PTI chairman Imran Khan.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan announced to start Jail Bharo Tehreek [fill the jail movement] on February 22, to pressurize the government to hold elections.
