PTI expels former KP chief minister Mahmood Khan and 21 other members from party

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday expelled former KP chief minister Mahmood Khan and 21 other members from the party.

The development comes after he defected to the former party leader Pervez Khattak-led breakaway faction, PTI Parliamentarians.

Other leaders who have been expelled from PTI include Shafiq Afridi, Ziaullah Bangash, Ishtia Urmar, Iqbal Wazeer, Yaqoob Sheikh, and Wilson Wazeer.

The notice was issued by PTI secretary general Omar Ayub Khan to the defected members.
