PTI Founder Imran Khan Removes Lawyer Faisal Chaudhry from Legal Team
This decision was reportedly made after Khan was informed of Chaudhry's recent statements
On the instructions of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, lawyer Faisal Chaudhry has been removed from the party’s legal team.
According to sources, the decision was made during a meeting between PTI’s legal team and Imran Khan at Adiala Jail. Party General Secretary Salman Akram Raja informed the PTI founder about Faisal Chaudhry’s statements, following which Imran Khan approved his removal.
Sources further revealed that Faisal Chaudhry has also been removed from PTI lawyers’ WhatsApp group, and all legal cases and responsibilities assigned to him have been withdrawn.
During the meeting, discussions were also held regarding Mishal Yousafzai. Bushra Bibi instructed that Mishal Yousafzai be included in the next meeting.
