Former PM Imran Khan to contest polls from three constituencies
PTI founder Imran Khan is reported to have signed nomination papers for the elections 2024 in Adiala Jail.
To participate in the general elections in 2024, the nomination papers were taken to the founder of PTI in Adiala Jail by his lawyer Rai Muhammad Ali.
Rai Muhammad Ali said that the founder of PTI will contest elections from Mianwali, Lahore and Islamabad.
He also alleged that the Adiala Jail administration seized the nomination papers which were handed over to them after 7 hours.
PTI Chairman Gohar Khan said on Wednesday that the jailed former prime minister Imran Khan would contest the upcoming general elections from three constituencies of Lahore, Mianwali and Islamabad.
Speaking to the press after visiting Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, Mr Gohar said the former premier would be provided with his nomination papers on Thursday (today), vowing that “Khan sahib will contest these polls, God willing”.
